                                                   The croft is operated with climate smart solutions and the electricity we buy is wind generated only. Warm water for showering and washing up is produced by the solar panels
                                                   on the roof. If the weather is bad we heat the water with biomass fuel. All taps are fitted with nozzles that lower the consumption of water to a bare minimum.
                                                   Pre-separation at source of all waste is mandatory for everyone visiting the premises, and there are waste bins outside for all kinds of refuse. All lights are low energy or
                                                   LED lights and all appliances are the best available regarding energy consumption and durability.
                                                   All the materials used for refurbishing the house are eco-friendly, the wood is produced in Sweden, we use linseed oil paint or water based paint. The furniture is reused, home made,
                                                   rebuilt and renovated second hand. The few items we buy brand new are of good quality so it will last longer and therefore make as small impact on the environment as possibly.
                                                   The brunch offers home grown, locally produced or ecological and fair trade items only. When travelling we use our rebuilt flexi-fuel car and if the distance is short
                                                   we choose bike and bike trailer.

                                                   You can always improve your ways and this is the goal ahead at all times, to think about the environment first and then act with this in mind. Many drops make an ocean – and we
